The Paris world premiere of The Little Match Girl Chamber Opera was enthusiastically received by an international standing room only audience on 20 June 2013. Their enjoyment was reflected by a standing ovation for the performing artists and the composer/librettist of this extraordinary chamber opera — written some forty years ago! Mme Rachida Dati, a former Minister of Justice for France and a Deputy in the European Parliament, sponsored the Premiere, which was produced by Adrian Harrington Brown, a distinguished French businessman and educator. The Opera was performed by Soprano Anne-Chantal Carrière as the Little Match Girl and Mezzo- Soprano Véronique Bauer as the Grandmother.
