William Byron Webster has devoted more than 30 years of dedicated service to the community of East Palo Alto, a poor majority minority community in the middle of the wealthy San Francisco Peninsula. He made East Palo Alto his home, and has served on numerous community organizations, working effectively in many capacities on behalf of the community and the City including serving as President of the East Palo Alto council of Tenants Education Fund, as a Senior Member of the East Palo Alto rent Stabilization Board, and is the founder and Executive Director of the Global Freedom Arts Education Association commonly known as Freedom Arts.
